Still Words, Silent Monologues

We film live photographs and styled views that we will use for our final video. We film the last one while waiting in Alza.

We are leaving with a sofa in a TV box. We stop at the farmers‘ market to buy vegetables, bread and cheese to have food for the rest of the day. We arrive at the gallery. We assemble the sofa, hook up the technology, and turn on the projection. The votes from the second round of the presidential elections are starting to be counted. The sound is muted for now, and we are focused on our program. Everyone comes up with three words that represent the meaning of today for them.

The first game functions on the principle of lip reading. All words are being written down and will be used later. We manage to finish one round, but there is no time left for games. Others from the studio are gradually joining us. We turn the sound on. More than half of the votes have been counted, the result is practically clear...
